Atkinsday is a small breeding program, with 2 - 4 litters born each year.

I fell in love with the breed when I started working at Cooperslane Kennel in 2004.

My first litter was born in 2007. Since then, I have retired eight, beautiful mommas. The girls have NO more than four litters - one litter per year.

My girls have their proper clearances on their hips, elbows and eyes. I use Cooperslane's males, who also have their clearances, and their handsome looks.

My program is foster based, meaning my breeding girls live in a foster home. They enjoy their spoiled, pampered living with their foster family, and come back to be bred once a year. They stay with me, raising their litter and return to their foster home when ready. When they are retired at approx. age 5, they live forever with their foster families.

My puppies are born and raised in our home, and are ready for their new homes at eight weeks of age.

My puppies come from excellent breeding lines that are clear of genetic problems. They are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and insured with PetSecure insurance for the first six weeks into their new homes.

My puppies are sold on non-breeding contracts. They have a health guarantee of two years for their hips and five years for their eyes.

My dogs are my passion. It is very important to me that my puppies go to loving homes. Labrador Retrievers are excellent family pets who thrive on the love and attention from their owners. Their gentle temperaments and willingness to please are only a couple of the many traits that make them the perfect family pet.
