Atkinsday

Atkinsday is a small breeding program, with 2 - 4 litters born each year.

I fell in love with the breed when I started working at Cooperslane in 2004. I became a member of the Canadian Kennel Club in 2005.

Since my program began in 2007, I have retired three beautiful girls. These girls have produced amazing puppies for wonderful families who I have had the pleasure of meeting. 

My girls are only bred four times, one litter per year.

All of my girls have their proper clearances on their hips and eyes. I use Cooperslane's males, who also have their clearances, and their gorgeous looks.

My puppies are born in my home, where I have a whelping area set up. They stay there until they are four weeks, then I bring them out to the heated / air conditioned kennel at Cooperslane. They are ready for their new homes at eight weeks of age.

My puppies come from excellent breeding lines that are clear of genetic problems. They are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and insured with Pet Plan insurance for the first six weeks into their new homes.

My puppies are covered under Cooperslane's health guarantee for two years on hips and five years on eyes.

It is very important to me that my puppies go to loving homes. Labrador Retrievers are excellent family pets who thrive on the love and attention from their owners. Their gentle temperaments and willingness to please are only a couple of the many traits that make them the perfect family pet.
